What is Motown music?

Motown music beholds some of the greatest songs and artists of the 20th century. With that being said, and with the first Motown video being an enormous channel success, I've decided to revisit the music of Motown by making a second installment.

Which Motown songs were popular in the 70s?

If you’d prefer the hard-hitting soul man of “War” fame, try Involved (1971), which features his take on a couple of hits by The Temptations, Starr’s own “Stop The War Now” and the gutsy “Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On.” Motown’s output grew more diverse as the 70s moved on.

What are some classic Motown songs?

"Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "My Girl," "Dancing In The Streets," and "You Can't Hurry Love," are just a few memorable classics off Motown's priceless roster. Gordy founded Motown Records in 1959.
